Even though i was freezing cold, tired, hungry and by body hurt lol i felt truly amazing, i thought this is why someone wants to run 13 miles for fun , because it makes you feel fantastic after. I have decided this week i plan to work on my weight training to strengthen up my legs.

I was going to finally start the running journey by walking the first five lights, and jogging the next one, all the way to the top.

It should be a process, taken step by step, little by little until the ultimate goal is finally attained.

Finding your Happy?

Finding your Happy?

It is widely researched that there are three main effects on the body from exercise alone;

  1. Biochemical - ‘runner’s high’ from increased endorphins & serotonin
  2. Physiological - lower blood pressure, feel better, sleep better, more energy - enhanced by being outside and getting fresh air/change of scenery.
  3. Psychosocial - self worth/esteem, body image, social interaction
