Helpful Resources

As a Team we fundraise for several mental health charities including Rethink Mental Illness.  We have asked their advice on where best to point Team members who may be struggling and find themselves needing to talk.

Please find a list of resources and links below:

If you need urgent help and are worried for your safety, seek immediate help.

  • Call 999 and ask for an ambulance to take you to A&E.

If you need urgent support but don't want to go to A&E, you could:

  • call the Samaritans on freephone 116 123 open 24/7
  • call NHS 111
  • contact your GP surgery and ask for an emergency appointment

Whether you are struggling to cope yourself, need someone to talk to or are worried about a loved one, these helplines and support groups have been sourced from the NHS website and consist of a range of charities and services that you can access for expert advice.
