May VE Day Challenge

2025 marks the 80th Anniversary of VE Day.

Which stands for Victory in Europe Day, was the day towards the end of World War Two when fighting against Nazi Germany came to an end in Europe.

We are offering this amazing medal and entrants must complete 5km

Please note medals have been ordered and are in production, we expect delivery end of April but any changes we will update our entrants as soon as we are made aware.

This Virtual Distance Challenge is throughout May

We are asking entrants to run, walk, cycle or swim 5 km. In one stint or multiple sessions throughout the month.

The medal is a reward for completing the challenge and submitting evidence by the deadline date.

Go on, virtually challenge yourself this May.

All you need to do is sign up to the virtual race. Complete the distance during May Send us proof. Wear your medal with pride.

Currently it is estimated that there are more than 4,500 ex-service members of the British Armed Forces which are homeless throughout the UK and we are expecting this number to rise in the near future.

What We Do We are focused on helping our ex-service personnel enjoy clean living environments - a place where they can feel at home. We also focus on helping them find a permanent home through social housing and assisting them with their application.

Our Outreach projects include helping ex-service personnel with food, clothing and advice. In addition to this, UK Homes 4 Heroes provides a counselling service to assist with a host of psychological disorders including PTSD.
