We are delighted to confirm that the benefiting charity for this event is the Notts Gymastics Academy.
£2 of every £12 entry fee will be donated to a worthy cause. Making this one a truly magic challenge.
Notts Gymnastics Academy provides gymnastics opportunities for all ages and abilities whilst aiming to develop health, fitness and social integration, whilst contributing towards physical and psychological well-being of our gymnasts. We offer a structured system and pathway providing all our members a suitable opportunity to experience gymnastics, regardless of age or ability; through Women’s, Men's, Acro, Gymnastics For All, Preschool, Adult sessions and Disability inclusive classes. We aim to increase the skill and fitness levels of all gymnasts using general and precise conditioning and preparation. Gymnastics, in young people promotes a healthy lifestyle, better co-ordination, strength development, flexibility, social skills, confidence, politeness, work ethic, determination and discipline. We have a large membership of approximately 1500 gymnasts who walk through our doors every week, and each of them regardless of age or ability strive to be the best they can be and reach their gymnastics potential. As well as providing for a large number of the local population, we also have a number of high performance athletes including being home to 3 Olympians, across Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. We are a non for profit charity and so everything we make is put back into the club to benefit our members, from providing new and up to date equipment or simply increasing class opportunities so we can offer spaces to the many children who are on our waiting list eager to get involved in gymnastics.
